Sound events in Money occur when:
  • You record a new transaction in the account register.
  • You record a change to an existing transaction in the account register.
Note Sound events do not occur if you tab through a transaction without changing it.

Money 97 or Later

If you do not hear a sound when you record a new transaction or change an existing transaction, Money may not be configured to play sound. To configure Money to play sounds, use the appropriate method for your version of Money.
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Click to select the Play Sounds check box, and then click OK.
