RAS Does Not Autodetect Hayes Ultra 14.4 Modem (130281)

Your Hayes Ultra 14400 modem is not detected properly by the modem
autodetection feature of Windows NT Remote Access Service (RAS).
CAUSE
The Hayes Ultra 14400 section of the MODEM.INF file does not include a
DETECT_STRING or a DETECT_RESPONSE command. These commands are required for
RAS to autodetect a modem.
RESOLUTION
Do one of the following to configure your Hayes Ultra 14400 modem for RAS:
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5.
This problem was corrected in Windows NT version 3.51.
The Ultra 14.4 modem is manufactured by Hayes, a vendor independent of
Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this
product's performance or reliability.
