Bookshelf: Audio Clips Do Not Rewind Automatically (130173)

SUMMARY

Microsoft Bookshelf audio clips do not rewind automatically when they finish playing.

MORE INFORMATION

Bookshelf audio clips in Windows 3.x or Windows for Workgroups 3.1x will not automatically rewind when they are finished playing. Audio clips do not include videos (AVI's) or animations.

NOTE: Audio clips, videos and animations rewind correctly in Windows 95.

WORKAROUND

To rewind the audio clip, choose the Stop or Play button when the clip finishes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with programs listed at the top of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
