Cannot Control Position of Dialog Boxes in Print Preview (127171)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Microsoft Project under Windows NT, you may experience problems controlling the position of a dialog box in print preview. When you attempt to move the dialog box, it may move all over the screen, coming to rest in an unspecified position. Many times, the dialog will stop in a position where most of the drawing is off the screen.

RESOLUTION

Currently the only way to prevent this behavior is to turn off the Full Drag option in the Windows Control Panel Desktop settings.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Project for Windows version 4.0.
