PC Forms: Cannot Delete Attachment from Routing Form (126289)

SYMPTOMS

After defining an attachment for the routing form provided with Microsoft Electronic Forms Designer, a message creator may change the attachment. However, the attachment cannot be removed from the routing form.

RESOLUTION

To remove the attachment, you must cancel the message by selecting Message, Exit or Close from the Control menu for that form. Next, you select No to discard changes to the form. Now, you may recreate the message with the correct attachment.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 1.0 of Microsoft Electronic Forms Designer. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
