SYMPTOMS

When you print an envelope using the Hewlett-Packard DeskWriter printer driver version 6.0, Microsoft Word may print the return address too far from the left edge of the envelope.

NOTE: This problem occurs when you print envelopes on either the DeskWriter 520 or the DeskWriter 560c.

The return address prints 0.75 inch from the left edge and 0.38 inch from the top of the envelope.

Changing the Return Address position in the Envelope Options dialog box may not have an effect on where the return address prints.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
