VB3 PRB: Can't Receive Data When Using MSCOMM.VBX Control (124237)

While performing serial communications by using the MSCOMM.VBX control, you
can get it to connect and send data, but not receive data.
CAUSE
You do not have the correct handshaking enabled.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem when using MSCOMM.VBX, set the RTSEnable property
to True or add the following line of code to your program when you
initialize the MSCOMM control:
Comm1.RTSEnable = True
