Secure Erase on Exabyte 2501 Err Msg: The Computer Has Rebooted (123744)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Windows NT Backup and choose to Secure Erase an Exabyte 2501, the following error appears:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x6dfcfd94, 0x00000010, 0x00000000, 0x80010ece).


The computer may also stop responding (hang).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.5. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.5.
