This article was previously published under Q123301 SYMPTOMS
When you insert an existing Aldus Freehand 4.0 object into a Word document
and choose Link To File, you may receive the following error message:
The server application, source file, or item cannot be found.
Make sure the application is properly installed, and that it has
not been deleted, renamed, or moved.
When you create an embedded object from the Create From File tab in the
Object dialog box, Word will insert a FreeHand icon into your document.
However, when you double-click the icon, you will get a Packager message
that states the Packager failed to carry out the command.
