You can save a file to a floppy disk through the Control Room in Creative
Writer or Fine Artist.
- Open the desired document within the program.
- Press CTRL+SHIFT+A in Windows, or COMMAND+SHIFT+A on
the Macintosh. This will open a Creative Writer dialog
box.
- Click OK. You will now see the Control Room
Toolbar.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify the drive in which your
floppy disk resides, and type a name for the file. Click Save.
Your file should now be saved to your floppy disk.
- On the File menu, click Return to <Creative Writer or
Fine Artist> to return to your program.
NOTE: You can also copy an existing document to a floppy disk from
within the Library (Creative Writer) or the Gallery (Fine Artist) by
doing the following:
- Put the floppy disk in your disk drive.
- Click the Throw Switch to open the Portfolio Rack so
you can see all the drives you are connected to.
- Drag the picture of the document you want to copy from the wall or
the portfolio to the disk drive where you want to put it.
