Labels, Envelopes Always Created with 10- or 12-Point Font (119833)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works 3.0
- Microsoft Works 3.0a
- Microsoft Works 3.0b
This article was previously published under Q119833 SUMMARY
Labels created in Works for Windows are initially formatted with either
a 10-point or 12-point font (see note below), regardless of the default
font size or the font used in the rest of the document. All envelope
documents created in Works are initially formatted with a 10-point font.
This behavior is by design.
NOTE: With Works 3.0, the mailing label document is created with a
12-point font. With Works version 3.0b, the mailing label document is
created with a 10-point font. The envelope in both versions is created
with a 12-point font.
RESOLUTION
Any and all formatting (for example, font, font size, bold, italic, and so
on) can be changed after the label or envelope document has been created.
For more information about changing the format in a Word Processor
document, see pages 77-80 of the "Microsoft Works for Windows User's
Guide" for version 3.0.
