MORE INFORMATION
When you run the Microsoft Excel version 4.0 Setup program, and the
sCountry setting in the [intl] section of your WIN.INI file is
Australia, a dialog box with the following message appears:
Please pick the dictionary you want Microsoft Excel to use for spell
checking your documents.
You can choose either the American English button or the British
English button. If you choose American English, the file MSSP_AM.LEX
is installed. If you choose British English, the file MSSP_BR.LEX is
installed.
However, when you run the Microsoft Excel version 5.0 Setup program, and
the country setting is Australia, you do not receive a dialog box asking
which dictionary language version you want to install. Instead, the British
English dictionary file, MSSP_BR.LEX is automatically installed.
The following table summarizes the language version of the dictionary
that is installed when you run the Microsoft Excel Setup program:

4.0 United States MSSP_AM.LEX
4.0 Australia prompt for user's choice
5.0, 7.0 United States MSSP_AM.LEX
