Works: XModem Does Not Save File to Specified Directory (114035)

SUMMARY

When you initiate a file download using the XModem protocol, you will be asked for a directory location and filename for the downloaded file. After you enter this information, Works will begin the download with the proper filename, but in the directory specified in the Transfer option of the Settings menu.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works version 3.0 for Windows. This problem was corrected in Works version 3.0a for Windows.
