PRJ: Task Bar Appears on Top of Other Tasks in Calendar View (113769)

In Microsoft Project, when you link tasks in your project, and then apply the Calendar view, if you later unlink the tasks, the task bar
of the successor in the original link appears on top of the predecessor
task bar in the Calendar view.
CAUSE
When you link tasks in the Gantt Chart, and then apply the Calendar view, each task appears on the day it is scheduled to start, at the top of the calendar box for that day. If you then unlink the tasks, so that each task starts on the same day, the tasks still appear in their relative positions in the calendar box for that day, causing each task to appear on top of its former predecessor task.
Note that this behavior only occurs if you apply the Calendar view before you unlink the tasks. The behavior occurs even if you unlink the tasks in a view other than the Calendar view.
WORKAROUND
To refresh the screen, click Layout Now on the Format menu.
To avoid this behavior, unlink tasks in your project before you apply
the Calendar view.
To correct this display problem, drag each successor task below its
predecessor task on the Calendar.
