SUMMARY

In Microsoft Project version 4.0, view and calendar information is stored in the individual project file or in the GLOBAL.MPT file. You can convert and open Microsoft Project version 1.0 or 3.0 view files and calendar files as new Microsoft Project version 4.0 files.

When you convert a view file, the views, tables, filters, reports, and custom forms are converted and applied to a new Microsoft Project version 4.0 file.

When you convert a calendar file, base calendars are converted and applied to the project.
