Microsoft Access erroneously allows you to use OLE objects as filter
criteria. If you attempt to do so, you may receive the following misleading
error message:
Record is too large.
CAUSE
Microsoft Access does not currently allow you to use OLE objects as
filter criteria.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions
1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access
version 7.0; you can use Is Null or Not Null with the query by form (QBF)
filter.
