Err Msg: Network Name Cannot Be Found... Using a Trailing \ (103396)

While trying to browse a server in File Manager in Windows NT, you
may receive the following error message.
Network Name Cannot Be Found.
CAUSE
This error can be caused by typing "\\<servername>\"--without the
quotation marks--(for example, "\\westlab\") in the Path box of the
Connect Network Drive dialog box. You cannot enter a a trailing
backslash (\) after the server name.
The trailing backslash is used when browsing in Windows for
Workgroups, but this method is not available in Windows NT.
RESOLUTION
To eliminate this error message, remove the trailing backslash from the
server name (for example, "\\westlab").
Steps to Reproduce Problem- Open File Manager from the Main group.
- Select Disk and choose Connect Network Drive.
- Enter a server name in the Path box as follows:
\\server\
- Choose OK.
You will receive the above error message.
