SYMPTOMS

ProComm Plus for Windows runs very slowly on MIPS machines.

CAUSE

This application erroneously sends XMODEM transmissions one character at a time. This problem will be corrected in an upcoming version of ProComm Plus for Windows.

RESOLUTION

Use a protocol other than XMODEM, or contact ProComm for a product upgrade.
