PUB: WordArt May Not Give In-Place Editing (102091)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 3.0
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 2.0
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 2.0a
- Microsoft Works 3.0
This article was previously published under Q102091 SUMMARY
When you insert a Microsoft WordArt 2.0 or greater object into a Publisher
or Works 3.0 document, you may not get the standard "in-place" editing
interface expected when dealing with an object-linking-and-embedding (OLE)
2.0 object. This will occur if you selected the Display As Icon check box
in the Insert Object dialog box when you initially created the object. All
subsequent editing sessions of this WordArt object will also lack
the "in-place" editing interface.
