Rune --------------------------------------- Release: 12/16/1999 Code: Softfox@geocities.com Details: This mutator add the standard runes (damage, resist, regen, and haste). A config window is present to adjust each of the runes. The values are pretty self explainitory. Damage Mult: Multitpied by damage delt when person has the damage rune. Resist Mult: Divided by damage recieved when person has the resist rune. Regen Tick: The time between regenerating. Regen Amount: How much health is recieved each 'tick'. Regen Max: The regen rune will heal the player up to this amount. Haste Run Mult: Multiplied by the player speed. Rune Spawn: The delay between spawning runes in the level Currently there really isn't any way of telling if someone has a rune (except the damage rune plays the damageamp sound each time a shot is fired). The HUD display that tells you which rune you currently have only works in single player games or on the host machine. I'm sorry about this but mutators don't seem to currently be able to affect the HUD. If anyone has some suggestions as to what the runes could do to show which rune is currently being held, feel free to email me. To drop a rune, bind a key to "mutate drop_rune" (without the quotes).
