Welcome to QFig - The Quake Configuration Editor! For the REAL scoop on QFig, latest news, and startling pictures of the Force Clan, come to: http://www.mindspring.com/~forceclan/qfig or http://www.mindspring.com/~forceclan Using the program should be pretty self explanatory. All you need to do is run the single executable. I tried to make it as idiot proof as possible so that members of the Force Clan could use it. I have to spoon feed these guys, you know. Now, I know that a lot of the younger generation is playing Quake now, and they may not be so familiar with the concept of "Shareware." Essentially, if you use it, you are supposed to send in a nominal fee to the author, which in this case, is me. The fee here is only $5. A paltry amount for the new techniques you will acquire from using QFig... Send your payment of only $5 (cash or check made payable to Trey Ratcliff) to the address below: Force Incorporated Attn: Trey Ratcliff 3400 Sweetwater Rd. Known Minor Bugs: ----------------- I have found a few inconsistancies, but most of them are actaully future enhancements... - Occasionally the "Save" does not work. I cannot figure out a pattern, but "Save As..." ALWAYS works. - When you load a file, QFig will reverse-engineer that file and place the binding keys and other values into the controls. The only place this does not happen currently is on the Macros tab. Similarly, the slider bars, after the initial load of the data, may not accurately reflect what is actually in the config file. However, once you move them, the results are stored safely inside the config file. - I have disabled a few of the controls which were buggy in beta testing...I will re-enable these soon... - When you manually make changes on the Script tab, these are not reflected back into your other tabs until the script is reloaded. This will be fixed soon...
