Title : Handy Teleporter Filename : tele.zip Version : 1.0 Date : 28.10.96 Author : Dane Email : dane@hartle-klug.com Credits : ID - Software All people i know and everyone who plays Quake, especially Wuschel, TK and tHE oPERATOR. Type of Mod ----------- Quake C : yes Sound : no MDL : no Format of QuakeC ---------------- unified diff : no context diff : no .qc files : yes progs.dat : no Description of the Modification ------------------------------- A teleporter! Using Impulse 20 will set a teleport tag (and take 25 cells of your ammo). If somewhere in trouble, you can use Impulse 21 to teleport to the previous set tag (as long as you have another 25 cells). The tag will be erased by this action. This little thing is especially for deathmatch. You can set mean traps by setting a teleport tag at the position of a weapon and then telefragging any- one, who tries to get the weapon. How to Install the Modification ------------------------------- Make a new dir in your quake directory (ie c:\quake\tele) then unzip tele.zip inside of this directory. Now run qccdos in this directory and play quake with quake -game tele Technical Details ----------------- If you have any comments or ideas or just want to email someone, send me an email. I am far too lazy to describe the technical details here (sorry). Just take a look at weapons.qc . I think the patch is not too hard to understand. Author Information ------------------ Author of Shocka(TM) ammo, the drug qc patch and the Freezer gun patch. Fanatical quake player. Copyright and Distribution Permissions -------------------------------------- Authors MAY use these modifications as a basis for other publically available work as long as he gives me some credits and sends me a version of the modified files by email. Availability ------------ www.hartle-klug.com / Future Zone Patches already available ------------------------- Shocka(TM) ammo for grenade / rocket launcher (Get it and some nice levels with much lava and small platforms and have much fun in deathmatch) Drug qc patch (Looks nice) Freezer patch (It's cold in here, isn't it?)
