Long may ye reign in blood... The slipgate has led you to a hallowed temple, carved into the rock of a long forgotten world. Once a place of worship, the temple has been overrun and ransacked by Quake's evil minions. As if to pour further scorn on the attempts of your fellow soldiers to reclaim this holy place, they have buried the bodies of your friends in pagan graves. You must avenge the death of your brothers and rid this land of pain and hate forever... === Other Info === This is my third Quake level. It has nothing to do with Michael Crichton's book The Lost World (although Jurassic Park is my favourite film :) I found the medieval theme very difficult to build well and stopped work on the map at various times throughout its construction, intending to scrap the level entirely. After being pestered constantly by Juha Koiste, I decided to complete the map so the work would not go to waste. As with my previous levels, the map is highly detailed but runs at a reasonable speed on my P100. I suggest you use the -winmem 16 switch at the command line. I would love mail from anyone regarding this level. Unzip into the quake\id1\maps directory (create if necessary). Launch Quake, go to the console and type: map lostwrld * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
