================================================================ Title : The EvilPool Filename : evilpool.bsp(evilpool.map)---single player e-pooldm.bsp(e-pooldm.map)---deathmatch Author : Glenn Ancheta Email Address : itchykr@ix.netcom.com Description : "HQ has dropped you into the meat-grinder again...The EvilPool's unholy water is one source of Quake's power, thus, it is heavily protected by his minions. Your job is simple, go in and defile the pool by killing anything that moves and escape through the exit." Additional Credits to : Romero, Carmack & all the wonderfully twisted minds at id software. My fave bands: BIG DRILL CAR, DOUGHBOYS, ALL/DESCENDENTS---for providing the background music for my insomnia & late-night level editing. ================================================================ * Play Information * Level Name : EvilPool Single Player : Yes! (evilpool.*) Cooperative 2-4 Player : No, but you could do it if you really wanted to. Deathmatch 1-4 Player : Yes! (e-pooldm.*) Difficulty Settings : Nope * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Build Time : Actual construction of the level took only ~6 hours... but fixing all the bugs, playtesting the level & figuring out entities extended build time to a couple of days. I'm sure you know how that goes :) Editor(s) used : QScript 94d by Tank Enterprises/William Bradely(a.k.a Sublime) basaidai@sprynet.com This excellent editor is great for cranking out levels FAST and features perhaps the most easily understood interface. I also dug into the map file with a plain old text editor. Known Bugs : None that I know of (I made sure I went back and fixed them all). However, since there's lots to kill (in evilpool.*), you might get slowdown if too much happens too fast. ================================================================ *I also did the "Ogres&Wizards"(qogrwiz.bsp) & "ArmyHell"(qarmyhel.bsp) hacks for the Qtest1 a while back. I know...whoopee-doo... *Look for my next level, "The Ledge"...
