I enjoy finding secrets in levels so I placed in 6 for your amusement The Story : There ain't one. :) Other Works : If you're that interested go here: http://www.cdrom.com/pub/idgames2/levels/ http://www.planetquake.com/spq/crash/ http://www.planetquake.com/spq/matt/ http://www.awoq.time2quake.com/ http://www.quakemania.com/ltdan/ http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Castle/1052/ http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/8666/topten5.html ================================================================ * Play Information Single Player : Yes Cooperative : 6 starts Deathmatch : 8 starts Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : No Demos Replaced : None Source Included : No * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : Worldcraft, Stoneless Build Time : Infinity plus one multiplied by I don't give a fuck Known Bugs: : Well if you ask me this whole level bugged me from day one (see authors note) *THANKS TO* Id Software, Ben Morris and Worldcraft, Crash, Matt, Lt. Dan, Paul Taylor and Juha Koiste for giving us a cool forum for this stuff oh yea and CDROM.COM thanks for the disk space guys. *SPECIAL THANKS TO* autolycus (auto@hlthed.uregina.ca) for the great pipes prefab I used to make all the tubing in this level. Matt Sefton and Paul Taylor for testing and de-bugging. *AUTHORS NOTE* I had alot of trouble making this level. I had to stop its' construction several times over a long period of time which led to some design and technical flaws. The technical flaws were mostly correctable, the design flaws, well, c'est la vie. At times it can run slow (a quality I don't like) All in all I didn't enjoy the construction of this one, oh well. *COPYRIGHT* You can do whatever the hell you like with this voodoo level. Edit it, copy it, sell it...I don't care. Just don't blame me if tons of shit goes wrong with it. All I ask is that you drop a me a courtesy mail if you do use it for something. *AUTHOR INFORMATION* I have included this section because I thought it was a fun idea: I am a 30 years old and married, living in Ajax Ontario, which is just outside of Toronto Canada. 6 favourate Quake levels (not in order as they change from time to time): Happy fun quake -DO (ya just have to love this one if you've got any sense of humor) Underearth -TW (The definitive classic in my opinion) Underworld -MS (Great maze, great detail, flawless combat flow) Shadow over Innsmouth -SR ('Nuff said) Quake Combat School -RS (Advanced textbook combat-this one's not a plug I really do love playing it) The Abandoned Base (dm3) -JR (I must have played this level a zillion times during qtest1, to this day I have never gotten bored with it) 6 favourate reasons to love Quake (not in order as they change from time to time): It's bizarrely relaxing at the end of rotten days. Your wife sees you in the bliss of your addiction and leaves you be. Not caring that what you build would never ever have a reason to actually exist somewhere. Eternal life painted on the backdrop of death (Just keep finding those health boxes and you can live forever, this game is cancer free.) A great region of the "net" to continually surf. A fun bunch of people to talk to. :) FAVOURATE QUAKE MONSTER: The Ogre, he's just so damn ugly, the uglier Quake looks the better it seems to be. He can be ridiculously easy at times and almost impossible at others. The Ogre is Quake's classic monster. And for your amusement I have included a .jpg of me and my son in this zip, just for fun. ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ --------SECRETS--------- 1 of 6 : Jump in the slime in red sector and shoot the wall near the envirosuit. 2 of 6 : Swim up the tube on the surface of the green sector entry room (best to save this one for the control room) 3 of 6 : Walk between the tubes that carry you upward from the green submerged building, turn to the left and fall in the water. 4 of 6 : Shoot the 5 grates stained with blood, then look in red sector for the secret area. 5 of 6 : Shoot the floor grate in blue sectors entry room. 6 of 6 : Shoot the blood stained grate in the secret 4 area.
