Quake Screen Saver For Windows 95 UnZip into a temporary Directory... Move the Quake___.ttf into the WINDOWS/FONTS directory Move the Remaining Files to the WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory (sstext3d.scr, opengl32.dll, glu32.dll) That's it!! Your are all installed... Here's How to setup Windows 95 to use the Screen Saver: 1) Right Click on an empty portion of the Screen Select Properties 2) Click on the ScreenSaver Tab 3) Select the Text3D ScreenSaver 4) On the ScreenSaver Window, Click on the Settings Button 5) Click on the Choose Font button 6) Scroll down the list and Choose the QUAKE as the font 7) Click OK 8) Type whatever you want in the TEXT Box (I Suggest "QUAKE RULES Q") 9) The Q's are the Quake Symbol.. 10) Click on OK once you have set you preferences, then click on preview to see what it looks like....ENJOY!! Disclamer: You use this at your own risk! The DLL's and SCR are from the Microsoft Developers CD/OPENGL Development KIT, They are not warrented from locking up your system or screwing up the harddrive in anyway. I personally have not had any problems with this other then occasionally not working if you turn the screensaver on and off alot. The TrueType Font is from the ID software FTP site in the IDSTUFF/IMAGERY Directory.....I did not Program any of this other then put them together to make a really COOL ScreenSaver that Goes Well with with the QUAKE THEME that Chris DiNardo made....Please do not E-Mail me with Gripes, Bitches, or Complaints. If you like it GREAT!! if not...DELETE IT!!!! Robert D.
