What is Ctexture
----------------

Ctexture, DOOM texture changer allows you to change the DOOM wall
and/or floor textures names in the DOOM levels. This little app will
be especially useful when creating custom DOOM levels with user-
defined textures.

Current version runs on a Win32 platform, i.e. Windows 95/98,
Windows NT 4.0/5.0 and perhaps Windows 3.11 with Win32 extensions.
It is written in pure MS Visual Basic 6.0.

What's new in 1.71
------------------

* Improved change statistics dialog box
* Change buttons are now inactive when no texture is selected
* The texture name length is now limited to 8 characters (as it should be)
* When you change level to the same one, the texture data is no longer
  reloaded



What's new in 1.7
-----------------

* The buttons and some menu commands are now inactive when no file is
  opened. That's much better than displaying the annoying "No File
  Opened" dialog box
* The textures are no longer repeated in the textures list
* Added the progress bar indicator
* Ctexture now displays correct number of wall and floor textures
* When you change the map, old textures names are now cleared
  Otherwise, it was possible to make Ctexture look for the texture
  from the previous level in the current level



What's new in 1.6
-----------------

Initial beta release, fully written in Visual Basic.
Previous versions were designed for DOS, and were never released by me.



Games supported
---------------

Current release supports Doom, Doom2 levels up to ver. 1.9. and also
works fine with the BOOM (DOOM 2.0) levels by TeamTNT.

Should work without any problems with Heretic and Hexen levels as well.
I tested it with DOOM, DOOM2 and HEXEN levels.
