We strongly recommended customers to update their system firmware. 



We've released AlphaServer GS1280/ES80/ES47 firmware with the following fixes.

Firmware changes:



cmm 	- Improve Date/Time algorithm to remove the risk of frequent updates 

          into FLASH ROM

xsrom	- Adjust signal driver on specific inter-processor communication ports 

          for CPUs running at 1300 MHz in 16, 32 and 64P configurations to

          reduce the risk of IP communication errors.

srom	- Initialize timing register during diagnostics to fix victim-buffer 

          error and eliminate a very low risk of subsequent system failure.

srm 	- no change
