2.2 Installing KAP

KAP is installed on an OpenVMS Alpha system with the system commands kcc and kapc . See the KAP C for OpenVMS Alpha Installation Guide for details.

To define the KAP commands, issue the following command:

$@sys$startup:kcc$startup

The kcc$startup procedure creates the following command symbols:

$ kapc == "$sys$system:kapc.exe"
$ kcc == "$sys$system:kcc.exe"
