DESCRIPTION:  
The Compaq Survey Utility is an online agent that captures critical hardware 
and operating system configuration information on Compaq servers without 
interrupting server operation.  It automates a configuration history log, 
allowing administrators to identify and compare configuration changes.

Changes in Version 1.09:
- Added support for new Compaq Prosignia/Proliant servers. 
- Looks for the presence of a Compaq Remote Insight Board 
  with new version 1.1 firmware or later, and if present, 
  saves its last captured session on the board.
- Fixed a problem with some NetWare SET values being 
  reported improperly.  This affected only ON/OFF values.  
- Fixed display of processors installed in ProLiant 5000 
  when less than 4 processors are present.
- Fixed problem with max-length disk volume name.
  
The included RELEASE.TXT file lists new functionality.

 HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a temporary directory on your hard drive 
    and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
    SP3636.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP3636 [ENTER]
    The following files should be created:
        3.5
        mssngrus.dll
        mssngrjp.dll
        readme.txt
        release.txt
        sinstall.nlm
        sp3636.doc
        survey.cnt
        survey.hlp
        survey.nlm
        survey.ref
        surveynw.pez

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
    SP3636.EXE if you wish.

4.  Refer to SP3636.DOC and README.TXT for instructions on installing
    and using the software.
