DESCRIPTION:  Creates the files needed to install the ESS 1868 Audio drivers 
for Windows 95 for the Deskpro 2000/4000/6000 models using the ESS 1868 
audio controller. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed 
with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory.
To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete 
path of the directory as a parameter:

     SPxxxx <path> 

Enter "Y" to confirm and files are unpacked into the download 
directory or the directory specified.  

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install the driver, go to the Control Panel.
Double-click the Multimedia Icon. Click Devices Tab.  Select Add. 
Select Unlisted or Updated Driver. Click OK. Enter the 
path where the drivers are located from step 2. 

5. Select OK to install the driver.

6. After the driver has been installed, you may delete the files 
from the download directory if you wish.
