Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed. You are then given the chance to specify the target directory for the files, or to use the download directory (default). 3. After the files have been unpacked, the self-extracting .EXE file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired. 4. After the Softpaq unpacks the files, the setup program runs silently to update the drivers. The setup program (wdrvinst.cmd) is located in the download directory if it needs to be run interactively.
