HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Make a 
note of the location where the SoftPaq contents are extracted, the default is 
C:\SWSETUP\SP28148.

NOTE: After the files have been unpacked, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in 
Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.

UPDATING THE DRIVER
To update the driver, complete the following steps:

1. Open Device Manager (navigate Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> 
Device Manager).

2. Click the plus sign (+) for the ''SCSI and RAID controllers'' entry.

3. Highlight ''LSI Logic 1020/1030 Ultra320 SCSI Adapter.''

4. Open the device properties (Action --> Properties).

5. From the Drivers tab, update the driver using the location of the extracted 
SoftPaq files.

6. If prompted, restart (reboot) the workstation.

NOTE: After the installation is complete, the download directory can be 
deleted, if desired.
