Installation and Configuration Issues


The following are known installation and configuration issues relating to this product:

Install Sun HighGround SRM Global Reporter on a Licensed SRM Server
The SRM Server machine on which the Sun HighGround SRM Global Reporter software is installed must be licensed. Otherwise, scans cannot occur.

Select the 'Use SA Account' Radio Button on the Privileged Account Required Installation Screen
During installation, the installation procedure may prompt for a privileged account to create the Global Reporter database on the selected SQL Server. If the Privileged Account Required installation screen displays, select the Use SA Account radio button and enter an account with the appropriate privileges on the SQL Server. The installation procedure does not continue if a Windows account is entered.

Known Issues


The following are known issues relating to this product:

Charts Do Not Print in Internet Explorer 5.5
Charts and graphs cannot be printed from Internet Explorer 5.5. To print charts and graphs, press ALT+PRINT SCRN, and paste the chart's information into another application, such as Microsoft Word. Print the chart from this other application.

The Help Contents Button Does Not Initially Display in the Help Window
Upon launching the Help window in Netscape for the SolarisTM Operating Environment, the Help's Contents button does not initially display. To access the Contents button, click a link in the Help window.

Uninstall/Reinstall Sun HighGround SRM Global Reporter Resets Settings
If you uninstall/reinstall Sun HighGround SRM Global Reporter, settings changes, such as changes to the Severity Ranges, will be lost.
