Editing Scan Proxy Information

Using Capacity Reporter, you can edit the proxy system settings for a registered T3 Array RAID controller. This consists of changing the Capacity Reporter Agent computer to use for computer scans.

To edit scan proxy information:

  1. Launch the software.

  2. Click the Options tab, and then click the Scans notebook.

  3. In the navigation pane, click select proxy. The Select Proxy page is displayed.

  4. Next to the RAID option, click Modify. The Modify Scan Settings for RAID page is displayed.

  5. In the Select a managed object list box, select the RAID subsystem you want to modify, and make the necessary changes.

You can change the following setting:

Computer Scan Agent — Enter the name of a managed Capacity Reporter Agent computer that has the correct plug-in installed on it. If you select a Capacity Reporter Agent 5.0.1 (or greater) computer that does not have the correct plug-in installed, all computer scans for the selected T3 Array controller fail.
