Use this wizard to install one or more patches on a system running the Solaris 9 or compatible operating environment.

Note: You must use the patchadd command to install patches on systems running an operating environment released prior to Solaris 9.

The patches that you want to install must be located in a directory on the local machine, or in a directory on a network server.

Before You Begin If the patches that you want to install are located in a directory on a network server, make sure of the following:
- The directory that contains the patches is shared. - Both the network server and the machine on which you want to install the patches are running nfsd, mountd, and automountd.
