Summary

The Summary Screen (SS) displays the overall status of all Sun MTP systems that
are either currently executing or are disabled. You may specify any number of
Sun MTP systems to monitor. Use the Open by Sun MTP File and Open by Multi File
options from the File PullDownMenu on the SS to establish connections to Sun MTP
systems. If Sun MTPScan can connect to a Sun MTP system, Sun MTPScan displays an item in
its ScrolledList that contains the following statistics (from left to right):

   System -> name specified in SIT
   State      -> UP or DN
   Users -> number of users currently logged on
   TXs -> total number of transactions executed
   TX Servers -> number of Transaction Servers
   TXs/sec    -> transaction execution rate
   Kernel CPU -> kernel CPU utilization
   User CPU -> user CPU utilization
   KIXSYS -> value of the environment variable.

If a Sun MTP system is not currently in execution, an entry displays
specifying the value of the KIXSYS environment variable and a short message
indicating the Sun MTP system is not currently in execution. A similar message
appears for systems that are not version-compatible with this version of
Sun MTPScan.

The SS's Histograms reflect summations of the number of transactions per second,
number of physical reads per second, and number of physical writes per second
for all executing Sun MTP systems that Sun MTPScan is attached to. Note that while
Sun MTPScan updates the Histograms according to the SS's Update Interval, the
Sun MTP systems are updating the values used to compute the summation according
to their respective Update Interval.
