PDASync Reference
The first tab that displays is the Synchronization tab.
The Conduits tab lists all the available PDASync application conduits.
Active conduits are indicated with a check mark.
The third tab in the PDASync application lets you view the activity log
for each synchronization.
PDA Dialog Windows
PDA Name
This dialog window only displays if you have not given your PalmPilot a
name.
PDA Password
This dialog window follows the PDA Name dialog window.
View Synchronization Status
The status area shows what is happening for the current operation. This
information includes status or prompt text, an animated graphic that indicates
that an operation is in progress, and a progress bar that shows estimated
progress during synchronization.
Synchronization Properties
In this dialog window you can:
Set the serial port. Select port A or B.
Set the port speed.
Set whether or not you want the window to iconify.
Configure the Installer Conduit
This conduit window is used to determine which files (applications or databases)
to install on your PDA.
Add PalmPilot Applications
This dialog window is used to add conduits to PDASync.
Configure the Memo Conduit
This dialog window is used to synchronize text files between the desktop
and the PDA.
Configure the Calendar Conduit
This dialog window is used to dtermine how appointments are synchronized
between calendar applications.
Configure the Mail Conduit
This dialog window is used to determine your PDA your INBOX location.

Mail Login
IMAP (server.domain) requires that you submit a login ID and password.
Configure the Address Conduit
This dialog window is used to determine how entries are synchronized between
address applications.
Configure the System Conduit
The System Conduit backs up all system information, graffiti shortcuts,
and any .pdbs and .prcs that are not already associated with applications
via conduits.
You should select "Desktop overwrites PDA" only if everything on your
PDA has been corrupted or lost.
Add a Conduit
This dialog window is used to add conduits to your PDASync.
Import a Conduit
This dialog window is used to add a new conduit that is not currently in
any of the existing folders.
Associate a Conduit
A list of the available databases display in this dialog window only if
they are already installed on the PalmPilot.
View a Log
This dialog window displays a real-time log of a synchronization or installation
operation.

Log Properties
This dialog window displays debugging information in order to troubleshoot.
Print a Log
In this dialog box you can:
Set the default printer
Set the number of copies to be printed
Set the format as portrait or landscape.
