Configuring OCF Clients

You need to configure a set of properties for client applications running on the local host. These properties define default smart cards and the authentication sequence used by the individual OCF client application.

An application does not need to have the same authentication sequence as the OCF server. The client authentication sequence takes precedence over a differing authentication sequence assigned to the OCF server.

For example, you can configure password as the default authentication mechanism for the OCF server. However, you might want to add PIN authentication into the authentication sequence for anyone trying to access a client application, such as the Solaris desktop.
