When a W2K Active Directory is configured into a WAN and then removed without
being configured, the /usr/sbin/creacct command will hang.  The problem is due 
to the use of a particular ldap_search command that is told to use a referal 
to complete a directory search.  However, the referal is no longer valid in 
this environment.  The W2K machine eventually disconnects the LDAP connection,
and creacct fails.
