SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR Tru64 UNIX V4.0G Patch 1111.00 This patch incorporates the use of two new tunable sysconfig attributes to the proc subsystem. After the patch is installed, performing the command 'sysconfig -q proc' will allow one to see these attributes listed as follows: proc: ... dump_cores = 1 dump_setugid_cores = 0 With this default setting for these tunable attributes, core dumps will still be produced by programs, but not by setgid/setuid programs. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for Digital UNIX V4.0G Patch 750.00 WARNING! This patch provides the X server support for the new 3Dlabs OXYGEN VX1 PCI graphics card.
