ECO KIT SUMMARY:
A defect inadvertently introduced into the Tru64 UNIX 4.0F BL13
patch kit causes the loss of 256 bytes of memory every time a
process exits on any Tru64 UNIX system if the appropriate patch
kit is installed and Accounting is turned on.
CONFIGURATIONS AFFECTED:
This problem will be seen on any Tru64 UNIX system with
Accounting turned on, that is running the 4.0F operating
system with the specified patch kit:

4.0F - DUV40FAS0002-19991116 "Patch Kit 2"
INSTALLATION NOTES:
This is a gzip'd file, and so to install it, one must copy it to the
desired system (which MUST be running appropiate with the entire bl13 patch
kit for the 4.0f release), ungzip it, then rebuild the kernel.
For example:
cd /sys/BINARY
mv std_kern.mod std_kern.mod_orig
cp /patches/std_kern.mod_40f_bl13.gz std_kern.mod.gz
gzip -d std_kern.mod.gz
cd /sys/conf
doconfig -c HOSTNAME
mv /vmunix /vmunix.save
mv /sys/HOSTNAME/vmunix /
