ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for POLYCENTER Manager on NetView for Digital UNIX V4.1A
on Digital UNIX V3.2 through 3.2D. This kit addresses the following
problems: 

  nvpager application would not work with alphanumeric pagers

	ECO 01 for PNV V4.1A fixes this problem.


  ovspmd would core when over 100 options specified in ovsuf for daemon

	A problem was fixed which would cause ovspmd to core dump 
	repeatedly if one of the object manager programs was specified in the
        /usr/OV/conf/ovsuf file with more than 100 options.
        
	ECO 01 for PNV V4.1A fixes this problem.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

To un-tar this ECO kit, type the following commands:

        #cd [directory where you want to store the kit]
        #tar xvf pnveco01411.tar

Install this kit with the setld utility by logging into the
root account, and typing the following at the system prompt:

        #setld -l [directory in which you un-tared the kit]

The ECO kit checks to ensure that a valid license is installed before
proceeding.  If one is not found, the installation aborts.
