DIGITAL ACMSxp Version 3.1 ECO1 for OpenVMS Alpha 


Problem Description
-------------------

ECO-1 corrects the following problems:

o Incorrect privileges were required to run ACMSxp

  The privileges needed to create/start/stop/delete ACMSxp
  tpsystems and create/start/stop/delete servers were incorrect.

o System servers used hard coded directory paths

  Prior to this release system servers used a hard coded
  directory path to find the executable image. ACMS_SYS_DIR
  is now used instead. This allows the tpsystem to be easily upgraded.


Installation Overview
---------------------

The installation guide has changed for this ECO release.
The installation guide can be extracted from the A saveset of
this ECO by issuing the following command:

       backup/sel=acmsxp_install_guide_v31_eco1.txt ACMSXPAVME01031.A/save -
              acmsxp_install_guide_v31_eco1.txt
