ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for MailWorks for DIGITAL UNIX V2.0 on DIGITAL UNIX 
V3.2C through V3.2G and DIGITAL UNIX V4.0B through V4.0D.  This kit 
addresses the following problems: 


  o  DMWOSF_E07020 for MailWorks for Unix, Version 2.0 is primarily focused
     on providing Year 2000 support, and on providing official support
     for Digital UNIX 4.0.  In addition, ECO7 fixes some problems with
     support for ISO-Latin2, and fixes problems which can result in
     illegal instructions being reported in the log files.

     In support of Year200, this ECO includes an updated copy of the SunOS
     and Solaris Motif clients.
  
     Please see the Release notes in the kit for more detailed description 
     of the problems fixed with ECO7.
 

INSTALLATION NOTES:

As a general precaution, we recommend that you install this ECO after
performing a suitable backup of your system.

The tar file contains kits for the MailWorks server, plus the clients
for Sun Solaris and SunOS.  You should start by unpacking the ECO tar
file into a suitable directory.  This will result in four files:
  mailworkskit.tar - this contains the server kit.
  mailworks-solaris-client.tar - as the name suggests, this contains the
     motif client built to run on Sun Solaris.
  mailworks-sunos-client.tar - this contains the motif client for SunOS
  release_notes_eco7 - The detailed release notes.

At this point, select the tar file containing the component you want
to install and unpack that tar file.  After unpacking the tar file, you
will have a full installation kit for MailWorks for Unix server, or the
appropriate Sun client.  You can now install the server and/or the motif
client using the original installation instructions supplied with the V2.0
MailWorks server kit.
