ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for DECnet drivers for PATHWORK V4.1 for Windows NT.
This kit addresses the following problems: 

   o  A PATHWORKS for Windows NT system stops accepting incoming
      LAN Manager connections over DECnet. A user on a PATHWORKS 
      V4.x client will see a "Server not listening" error, while 
      a PATHWORKS V5.0 client will get the error "Network path 
      not found". This problem is more likely to occur in a network 
      where there are duplicate node addresses.
        
   o  In some circumstances, when a PATHWORKS for Windows NT system
      receives a badly formatted Ethernet packet, it will bring down 
      the circuit and you can no longer make DECnet connections.  
      To determine if this has happened, do a "ncp show known circuit" 
      command and see if the circuit state is off. If the state is off, 
      check the Event Viewer application log for the following event 
      from PATHWORKS Evl, " Event type 4.6, Verification reject".
