ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for DECwrite for OpenVMS VAX/AXP Version 3.0.  
The ECO applies to both British and American English version of DECwrite.

This kit addresses the following problems: 

           o V2.1 incompatibility problems have been resolved, these
             fixes include:

             1. V2.1 preference file (WRITE$STARTUP.INI) is now
                fully compatible with V3.0
             2. V2.1 documents containing tables in page layouts
                can now be successfully opened
             3. V2.1 documents containing tables that are closely
                packed together can now be formatted correctly.

           o Index information is no longer lost after saving document.

           o TOC can now be created at the start of documents using the
             Manual Style File.

           o CDA interopability problems:
           
             1. Indented Paragraphs with labels are now viewed correctly 
                in the CDA viewer or can be printed using the Converter 
                Library Postscript converter.
             2. Indented Paragraph's in lists are now viewed correctly in 
                the CDA viewer or can be printed using the Converter 
                Library Postscript converter.
