Since this problem is IPC specific, it is being removed from the DDTM kit and moved to this IPC-specific remedial kit. This remedial kit has no new problem corrections. It is simply a re-packaging. If you have installed the VAXDDTM01_062 kit, then this kit does not need to be installed. o After a transient SCS failure and as the two communicating machines attempt to recover from it, one (or often both) of those machines crashes with an access violation. The images in this kit will not take effect until the system is rebooted. If you have other nodes in your OpenVMS cluster, they must also be rebooted in order to make use of the new image(s).
