       This ECO 1 kit contains the complete software for of FMS V2.5 RUNTIME, and does not

       require any base kit prior to installation of this kit.



       Note: If any version of the FMS Development kit is already installed, Installation

             of this kit would fail. Refer to FMS note 1232.





4  KIT DESCRIPTION:



	4.1 Operating System

		

		o  OpenVMS Alpha V8.2





	4.2  Files patched or replaced:





	      	o  FDVSHR_TV.EXE

	

        	o  FDVSHR.IIF





5  PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN AXP_FMSFDVECO1-V25 KIT





	o  The installation failed as the kit did not include FDVSHR_TV.EXE and

	   FDVSHR.IIF. This has now been corrected.





6  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:



	Install this kit with the VMSINSTAL utility  by  logging  into  the

     	SYSTEM account, and typing the following at the DCL prompt:



	  @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL AXP_FMSFDVECO1-V25 [location of the saveset]



     	The saveset location may be a tape drive, or a disk directory  that

     	contains the kit saveset.
