This new version fixes the following problems: -- COVER LETTER -- Page 2 15 December 1998 o Fix to all known problems with TAB expansions. o Fix the problem of random non-useful completion status. The correct, meaningful error status is now returned. o Fix the problem of the system crashing with double deallocate when a device is spooled. o Fix the problem of printing random garbage characters when the printer is set device/printall. o Fix the problems with DEClaser 1152 and third party Calcomp & Tektronics plotters and LP27s. 7 KIT INSTALLATION RATING: The following kit installation rating, based upon current CLD information, is provided to serve as a guide to which customers should apply this remedial kit. The images in this kit will not take effect until the system is rebooted. If you have other nodes in your VMS cluster, they must also be rebooted in order to make use of the new image(s).
